Question:

Why haven't I've ever seen a UFC with body hair, are they required to wax?

I've seen a lot of UFC. And it looks like g*y p**n.

The thing that really catches my attention from the fighters is that they don't have any body hair, NONE of them. They are completely hairless, I've never even seen a happy trail on their stomach on any one of them.

I think they all shave? Is it a requisite or something?

  1. have you seen forrest griffin he has body hair

so does stephon bonner matt hughes on so on

i think your talkin about wrestling

  2. So since it looks like g*y p**n to you, that must mean you watch g*y p**n.

I don't get the hairless thing either - no they are not required, and many do have hair.  I don't know why your looking at them like that anyway, I'm too busy watching them fight - well I guess if you watch g*y p**n...

  3. uh, seriously?  How about Griffin, Arlovski, Guida, Abbot.  There are a lot of them.  And really, the fact that you even asked that or really even care?!?!....

  4. lol why do u wanna no so bad.

Its cuz its not beneficial to what their doing. A furry back just gives your opponent something to grab onto before he kills you in the octogon.

  5. i can tell you from experience that rolling around on body hair tends to get very sore after a while without a shirt. thats one reason. another reason is now they can afford the wax lol

i've also heard that people who are really ripped and cut automatically lose alot of their body hair. but i wouldnt swear to it.

  6. I've never seen g*y p**n, so the fact that you compare the two is a bit disturbing.

That aside, the only fighter I noticed shaved, waxed or whatever was Andrei Arlovski.

When he was hairy, he was unbeatable, aggressive, relentless. When he was hairless, he turned into a boring fighter.

I don't think it's a requisite to fight, if that was the case they'd force them to shave beards.

  7. forest griffin numskull, hes straight outta the backwoods of georgia, im suprised no one thought of him...

    (good call country girl)

also great point by frank, comparing something to g*y p**n, no matter how you shake it, is in itself a contradiction...but hey, your the swim guy, in your world elite athletes are g*y p**n look alikes and micheal phelps is a burly mans man and knight in shining armor...not to mention you state that you never see a "happy trail" on their "stomach"....sounds like your doing a little too much body visualization instead of just watching the sport...

  8. arlovski in his early days had alot of chest hair and back-neck hair.

im sure it pulls out when there rolling around. probably doesn't feel good.

  9. The fact that you asked this is g*y!!!!!!!!!

  10. i wouldn't want my hair being pulled from the friction of the other person and matt.. that's most likely why they shave

  11. Ever heard of Tank Abbot?

  12. Andrei Arlovski is hairy, heck it seems like he is Samson because when he shaved it off it was like his killer instinct went with it but now that its back he clobbered Rothwell.

  13. Arlovski, Griffin and Guida come to mind. More importantly... why does it matter? If you need a logical reason... I would guess that when you are sweating you are harder to hold on to in a submission hold. Hair causes friction thus making it harder to slip out.

  14. All this coming from a guy called "Swim Guy" - I guess I shouldnt be surprised you watch g*y p**n.

  15. Forrest Griffin literally has a forest growing on his body. No pun intended. There are a ton of other guys as well. Matt Hughes. Clay Guida has some. It's all about personal preference.

  16. They are only required to shave there bikini line.
