Why haven't I got my Stimulus check yet!?

I am eligible. I did not do direct deposit. I was suppose to get my check by May 23rd! All my info is correct. I checked IRS.gov but that was no help. I tried calling but couldn't get through. What the h**l is going on!

Did you receive the letter advising you that a payment was being mailed and the amount of it? If not, it's possible that your return was processed after April 15 and therefore hasn't been scheduled yet. Try to get ahold of the IRS. Call 1-800-829-0582, extension 726.

If you have student loans but the aren't in default status, they won't affect your stimulus payment.

If you filed very close to 4/15, your return might not have been processed soon enough for you to be in the first round of payments.

if you haven't received your check yet and you were schedule to receive it during may the best thing for you to do is call IRS 1-800-829-1040 be patient  takes around half hour on hold for your call to get to a Representative. Also make sure you don't have a federal debt, state debt or any other kid of debt (child support & student loan )

Irs.gov states if you do not received your check by the date shown, to contact by a certain date, you should have gotten that date when you did the "where's my stimulus" tool on the site. At that date, then call the IRS and they can give you an answer, or call them again and you'll have to wait to talk to someone live....it's frustrating, but...think of all the people calling regarding their checks....you won't get thru unless you wait and stay on hold to get an answer....

Non-direct deposit checks didn't even start getting mailed out til the end of last month. Depending on what your last 2 numbers of your social security number is you could be waiting until mid-July.
