Why haven't I ovulated yet?

Today is day 17 of my cycle, I took Clomid on days 3-7 but I had a longer than normal period. I have been doing Lh tests everyday, but I still haven't gotten a positive. Do you think that I will still ovulate? How long should I keep on doing the tests?

I took clomid as well but on day 5-9 and used an opk.  I didnt reach my peak until day 22.  I reached "high" fertility at day 11 and kept staying at high until day 22.  Everyone is different especially if you have irregular periods.  I used the actual monitor and found it very very helpful.  I had to take the tests for a long time...atleast it felt like forever!!!  Keep on taking them though.  What dose of clomid did you take?  If you don't end up ovulating, your doctor may need to up your dose.  Baby dust to you!

what time of day are you taking your OPK test?  I just took one and got a positive at 11:00 am on CD 18, and a negative at 8:00 on the same day.  

Don't give up...I usually ovulate between CD 16 - 18...could be the same for you.
