  1. there are several reasons why:

    1. Ben Gordon did not prove himself to be a dynamite scorer he has did last season. He was an extreme disappointment this season because of his bad fg% and being able to play the most minutes and still can't be able to avg more than 20 ppg.

    2. Without Paxson you wouldn't be having Luol Deng, because compared to other GM's, Paxon is the only one who realizes Luol Deng's potential, and signed him back to the bulls.

    3. Paxson got the Bulls to the playoffs by eliminating the Heat in Round 1 in 2006-2007 season and also there comes a time when 1 franchise has at least 1 bad season.

    4. Also for your low post scorer, The bulls ahve Drew Gooden. Okay, it may seem crazy, btu Drew Gooden has proven himself to be a true power forward int he Chicago Bulls by avging a double double almsot every game.

    5. Thank you GM Paxson, Ben Wallace is gone! No more fear of the Freethrow line!

-i hoped this has helped with your question

  2. Yeah Pax is good guy he should maybe coach but he has no cojones to be a GM!

  3. I agree, he is a really bad GM, they would be even worse offer if they didn't Rob the knicks in that Eddy Curry trade.

  4. He is doing a better job than Danny Ferry in Cleveland. Be happy he isn't running the Bulls.

  5. The minute he traded away Lamarcus Aldridge for Tyrus Thomas he should have been fired. Why in the world did he trade away one of the best centers out of college. That guy is a beast now. 18 points and 9 rebounds to go with 1 block. We got a highly athletic guy in return with no basketball skill or IQ what so ever.

    Skills and smarts > athleticness

  6. I don't think he did too bad.  Yeah, he made a few bad decisions.  But overall, I think he's done a fine job coming in and cleaning up the mess Jerry Krause left behind.

However, seeing how rough things are now, I think this season will seal the deal for Paxson's job depending on the Bulls success.  If they improve from last year and have a solid year, I think Pax will stay.  But if there is no significant change or if things get worse, than Pax is gone.

I think more than anything Paxson is playing the patience game and just trying to rebuild.  If he's smart, he would start trying to assemble the team (salary cap-wise and personnel-wise) to make a strong push for Dwayne Wade when his contract with the Heat expires.  Like a quarter of the league will be running after Lebron that same summer and the other 25-50% of the teams already have their franchise player.  So there's not that many teams left to make a push for D-Wade.  They need to start now trying to lure him in.

  7. the bulls played way above their talent level for the past three seasons (not including last season) and knocked out the defending champ miami heat. he's done a great job after the mess jerry krause left behind. i wouldn't sign gordon anyway. he's not that good of a player. Ben leads the team in scoring because he doesn't know how to pass. he did sign deng who is way more important to the future of the club than gordon and drafted derrick rose who's on your avatar. one bad season filled with injuries and a bad coach (skiles which they fired and a guy who players tune out). Wallace just didn't care anymore and you could see that even when he was traded to cleveland... and he got rid of wallace's contract! that in itself is amazing... or proof that danny ferry is an idiot. paxson is not the problem. but he is part of the solution.

  8. yea, the dude is gonna make the bulls bad again, especially he screwed the bulls at draft night
