Why haven't we been more mad about the gas prices?

As the above poster noted, Europe has many protests and strikes going on, but we don't seem to hear about it.

To me, gas is like stamps.  Not an absolute necessity, but if you want the convenience you have to pay whatever is being asked.

Getting angry changes nothing. They've had people disruptions in other countries, that have had zero effect.

We should be mad at ourselves. They know we are gonna spend whatever it takes to get to and from work etc. If we refuse to pay these prices then things would be different. If everyone across the country not go to a gas station one day think of all the money they would lose. But ppl wont and cant do that. There is no reason gas is the price it is. And its gonna get worse. cause we will let it.

It's hard to get mad about something you can't control. Gas prices are going up & there's nothing I can really do about it. I need money for gas. I need gas to get to work. I need a job to get money. I need money for gas. And the cycle continues. And it won't stop.

Truckers here should be plenty mad. They've already caused work stoppages in Europe.

Judging by the number of questions on here, I would say your pretty mad about gas prices. I think it would be fair if prices for the UK and the USA were fixed on an average between the two. Yours would go up by about $3 a gallon and ours would come down by the same amount, now that would make you mad.

It 's because you're only paying $4 in the US - the UK charges the equivalent of $11 a gallon - you'll get madder when it gets to our levels and strangles the economy entirely !

Mad about what? Gas is only $4.50 a gallon. Does everyone in here work a Taco Bell? A fill up should cost about $90. Thats about three hours pay.Who can't handle that?
