  1. Turkey sandwiches.  Chips.  Beer.  Red wine.

  2. I belong to a Paranormal Group and even taking out Newbies we tell them how we do things and what is more comforment piece of equipment is easiest for you to run.  Later on into the group, one gets a chance for hands on expedience for a Newbie with all equipment while they are in training. You can bring a flashlight and a digital tape recorder and a good digital camera.  This would be up to your choice.  I usually let a New by use my equipment and see how they do with it.  If you are in a cold area, a nice winter jacket that is warm with a hood and insulated boots and warm gloves and a scarf that fits your face.  Most groups I know have rules as to no drinking or drugs before an investigation and we have to all be on our best behavior and make no jokes to the person we are doing an investigation for.  What ever it is or isn't anything is important to the person who has contacted us.  Be serious for the investigation and when we are in cars or vans on our way home then we get every body's ideas and we can at that time make our wisecracks and just have some fun about it all.

Our group is in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

  3. First off, let me say- I'm jealous!!!! Second, Everything.

  4. I think you are not serious because of your silly language. But you can use many devices from the simple to the complex. Emf Meters are standard but a good compass can be just as effective. Thermo scanners are also standard.

An open mind is the best equipment one can have.

  5. Paranormal investigation groups are a dime a dozen these days..To bad the investigation is sorely lacking as these jokers show up with the answers already, conduct themselves like entertainers and on que cart out psycics as if they are a reliable information gathering tool..They don't question them, challenge or disagree in the slightest..These groups almost never have a stated ideology-creed or level of proffesonal conduct and don't collate data that I have ever seen...Its a exciting way to make a buck and smile for the camera..Thats it...

  6. How about your parrot and eye patch?  Arrrrrr!

  7. Not time during Thanksgiving.  Bring whatever you can to show proof of what you see.

  8. digital camera, hard drive camcorder w/tripod if you have one, backlit ambient temp thermometer, an EMF detector if you have one, a digital recorder, extra batteries, flashlight, backpack to carry everything in,  with water, and first aid kit. take a jacket along since your probably outside. Walkie talkies if your split into groups. be well rested. No drinking the entire day up to your investigation and definately not during.

  9. Everything "nuff said" said, plus no strong perfume, and try not to smoke around others or near photographs being taken.  Don't be loud or obnoxious and follow the lead of the more experienced investigators in your group.  Happy Hunting!

  10. Maybe you can try using spell check and take some grammar lessons first? No one will take you seriously if you sound like a goof ball.

  11. I don't know if you need anything at all..considering they rarely show up when people bring equipment that could show proof. I think they don't want the skeptics to know they're there. (Just like that restaurant on Ghost Hunters last night...They had all that ghost activity....till Taps came.)

  12. A clear head is your best tool. I never leave home with out a camera even if just going to the store or work.  Some type of recorder for voice or EVP.  And lots of fresh batteries,  ghost have a habit of draining batteries, extra film or flash cards, tapes for camcorders voice recorders. And have fun!

  13. Me personally???? A pair of rubber underpants, mega amounts of valium, a couple of grenades and we should good to go.

  14. Wouldn't the paranormal group, tell you what you should bring along with you?

  15. an English dictionary, though spirits may speak Aramaic.

  16. Peace in your heart and soul and a god prayer for those souls.
