Why homebrew applications won't work on my psp?

I have a psp custom firmware 3.80 m33-5 but when I put homebrew applications on my psp the system always says corrupted data. Please teach me how to put homebrew applications on my psp custom firmware 3.80 m33-5.Help.

  1. if you have downloaded legit homebrew applications they should be extracted into your game150 folder. and they should run fine from there.

  2. You might be putting the homebrew programs in the wrong folder. Also, another major factor would  be if your psp is the phat one or the slim one. The slim psp has much less support for homebrew than the phat one.

  3. I had the same problem. Putting it on the GAME150 folder did not resolve the problem, but I use this application called TimeMachine created by Dark-Alex, which can be found at http://www.dark-alex.org/ , this can let you temporarily use your psp as a 1.50 version psp. You can use this version whenever you want when you use TimeMachine, or just downgrade your psp to a 1.50 Firmware Version, but i wouldn't wanna do that because there are many disadvantages to that. So try to use TimeMachine if you can, it worked for me!
