Why horse is clever and donkey is not what is the story behind this 2 animals?

Both are very smart animals.  But from my experience horses are easier to train and convince to do things whereas a donkey needs to be sure what he is doing will benefit him.  And peoples attitudes are based on this, for some unknown reason to me whenever an individual cant get an animal to do something they automatically dubb them as stupid.  I've had horses and donkeys and they're both as smart as each other. They just need different levels of understanding.

if u put something on donkey like bags of flower or rum and u have plenty of these bags but one on the donkey and go with him to the place want to drop the the bags leave him he will get back to the place and put the bags on it and he will come  back to the drop place it will keep going and going until the bags all drooped on the place

the horse is dum(Stupid)

u have to go with him and back with him
