If we look at this with a receptive and open mind, we will believe it has in many cases caused defective births and maybe it would be wise to poll this question and get a definite answer from the people who were pregnant during the time of a solar eclipse. I believe because the world is so complex and we seemed to rational everything by science and logic we forget there is a greater force that we may never understand!

  1. my daughter was born on the lunar eclipse that happened this year back in February. she wasn't born with any defects. she was perfect.

  2. My grandma was a midwife in the 20's and 30's and she always said more babies come when it's a full moon or closer to a full moon - remember, the moon is the reason for the tides we have here on Earth (including some rivers that have tides like the Thames in England).  Also remember, that babies live in a sac of amniotic fluid - so there is quite possibly a "pulling effect" (for lack of a better term) during a full moon on that fluid.  That's how she explained it to me.
