Sometimes when my schedule is really messed up from sleeping in I will just stay up all night and day so I go to bed early the next night.

Why after not going to sleep, you begin to get very nauseous?? Why and what causes it? And don't say no sleep. Give details please.

  1. Probably because your internal " time clock " is thrown off. Your energy level is low because your body is exhausted. Sometimes, it can feel as though you have a " hangover " . In addition, if it has been awhile since you've eaten any food, then this can lead to feeling nauseous.Your body needs food for energy.

I have had the same thing occur to me when I work double shifts, specifically 3-11 and then the 11-7 shift. I feel " hungover".

I hope that this is helpful.
