When I went to Cancun and the Yucatan Peninsula (I think that's what it's called) some cars would have a money/dollar sign painted or marked with a felt on the back window. I saw this on all types of cars. And it was on like every 10th car i saw. There has to be a reason? Can anybody answer this, I'm just wondering out of curiosity.

  3. Are u 2 yrs old? How old are u? If ur 10 yrs i understand, but its COMMON sense that they are 4 sale!

  4. Because these cars are for sale, I guess it's

easy they put a dollar sign and a phone number you call and negotiate.

  5. it's not just Cancun, I've seen it all over Mexico.  It's the standard shorthand for "FOR SALE." It's sometimes written out but not often: "SE VENDE."

  6. it means they are selling the car

  7. It simply means they are for sale.

  8. LOL!

It means the car is for sale. And, it is not dollar sign, it is "money" sign; the sign $ also means peso. We write US$ to say "american dollar" or $m.n. to say "Moneda Nacional (peso mexicano)".

Good question! don't pay attention to fool comments!
