  2. Who says that the universe is infinite? It may be large, but for now, we can only see a small portion of it. It may be be smaller than we presumed, and it may end just as sudden as it began for all we know.

    As for the rest of your question...Our perception of reality will continue to change because humans continue to change. The more we learn and the more we forget the more reality will become something completely different to us. That's simply part of our nature and what makes us unique among the observable known species...
