To suit various kinds of mind. Have you not heard the famous statement of Rigveda 'Ekam Sat Viprah Bahudha Vedanti' - 'Truth is one, but the sages call by various names'? How many varieties of dishes men prepare out of same wheat flour, isn't it?

indian methology has many gods of worship due to people of various regions who have come from different places around india....like Malayasia,singapore,we do share some methology with them.this variacity is also due to various beliefs and superstitionns.these superstitions and belif led pepole create or promote a new god, in some cases like krishna and rama they where concidered as good kings .
