Why in india other sports are not getting the desired attention as of cricket?

Well simply because cricket is a fastest money making sport and it's a worldwide recognised sport,basically it's a well established sport,for other sports the association needs to put in lot of hardwork to get itself recognised hence i feel it's not a fast cash in sport.

Basically cricket is played by each n every person in India, even in villages people n kids play cricket and hardly any other sport. Well other sports are not popular so all companies put their money in cricket as it touches everyone n not just a few thats why cricket gets a lot of attention.
