It's just social, just as the asians will often eat with chopsticks, many will eat with hands. In countries where just obtaining food is hard, utensils are definitely a luxury. Besides, fingers work just as well, if not better, when it comes to eat!

and people just got adaptive that way there was no silverwear at one point in this earth soo that why god gave u two hands to eat with what u eat ur frenchfries with?
