Why in the United States when the storms cease we forget our environmental concerns?

Do the states like Florida ,texas and other need a reminder of the damages that the burning of fossil fuels cause. I also ask this question what will happen to the price oil when multiple storms wipe this production capability off the map? Do we need to burn more fuel when congress and corporate america regulates the efficiencies of all our automobile? All our problem in this country are brought on us by the greed of corporate america and the ill will of the average american to have and control of his or her own destiny. This you have in-trusted too government and congress which you yourself have disapprove of ,so my question who leading who ?and can Corporation go to Heaven I know they can go to h**l?

We forget our environmental concerns when there are no symptoms showing.  It's the American Way.  No symptoms, no issues.

There's no proof that burning fossil fuels produces storms, so no, states like Florida and Texas don't need a reminder.

Yes we need to burn more fuel when our automobiles' efficiencies are regulated by the government.  Less fuel efficient vehicles burn more fuel which is more profitable to our government.

Many of our problems are caused by greed and apathy, but you lost me right about here so this is the best I can do in answering your questions.

Will answer this demolition of major commercial airports after evacuation possible to stop oil use. Either army engineers ot The E.P.A. can help plus Citizens and The Gov. Many citizens have explosives they could use to do so. If not them then specialists can be brought in. Same for Canada. If you contact the Canadian Embassy and ask a mesage to this effect to be sent to The Gov something might happen.  As to  alternate energy sources the usual I suppose electricity,windmills, nuclear power,solar power.
