Why in the heck do ppl w/ dishwashers wash dishes by hand?

Because sometimes either the object is too large for the dishwasher (a huge pot), they need to use it immediately after cleaning it ( a knife that was used to cut chicken but then you realize you need to cut something else, or because depending on the object, the dishwasher can actually damage it.

Maybe their dishwashers don't clean that well, or they only have a few dishes that wouldn't justify running the dishwasher.

if you only have one bowl u have to wash, then why do you have to use a dish washer and waste all the water?

Haha omg I know! My grandma does that when she's at my house. It's like "Uhh, Grandma?! We have a dishwasher!" Lmao.

I know, right? My dad insists that "Dishwashers only splash soap and water on your dishes. They don't scrub them. If anything, they sterilize. So wash your dishes by hand, and sterilize them in the dishwasher." Well, if thats the case, why call it a dishwasher?

lol, i always thought about this.

Now I am one of those people! I do it because it lowers my power bill to just wash them by hand.

You can also use less water by doing it by hand.

I have a dishwasher, i just feel that when i wash my dishes by hand they are cleaner... the only time I use my dishwasher is when im overwheelmd with dishes or its late at night and i need to hurry and clean up so i can go to bed.
