Why in the h**l is...?

Question

community college(at least) just like high school?

i don't know if universities are, or if other CCs are, but mine is.

i hated high school. it was boring, and i went to 5 of them.

my whole drive through junior and senior years after going to 4 hs was the prospect of going to a university. that was the only reason i got out of bed and kept participating in that c**p.

then i finally get to college, and it is more uncomfortable than hs, the classes are smaller than hs, and i have just as many friends as hs.

am i wrong, or is it different in a university?

i toured a university(the one i was really workin for) and i loved it. then i tour a CC, and it is the complete opposite! i don't know why.

can any of you out there give any insight?

maybe"the one i was really workin for" is the reason why. Maybe you are seeing it as different because you are seeing what you expected/wanted to see. School is work and education is the purpose. But it helps if the experience is as pleasant as possible. My opinion is if you have the resources; go where you'll be happier. if you don't; go where you can go. But do it now before life sidetracks you.The more involved in life you get the harder it gets to have the time for it. Or the money, or the energy.

i totally agree...i went to community college for 1 semester and hated it...it was just like High School..if not worse. But the 2nd semester I transferred to a University and I love it. Although I did transfer to one out of state and got a fresh start with everything. Its alot better.

So..transfer to a University next semester.
