Why in the world boozer is in the line-up?

Bynum in front of Boozer!? You're funny. Boozer is a better player than both Chandler and Bynum, you just hate him because he isn't in the media as much. Same with Deron Williams. Calm down bandwagon.

They needed him as a scapegoat just in case Kobe throws the team under the bus. The Media can say it was Carlos Boozers fault!

I agree.  Both Tye Crane ("Coach Carter"'s version of Tyson Chandler) and Andrew Bynum should be infront of Carlos Boozer.  I think the reason is though is that Carlos came from Duke where Krzyzewski coaches so they asked him first.  He also has experience with the team.

   When they formed the current team was I believe 4 years ago.  Way before Tyson Chandler showed his defensive dominance and the year Bynum got drafted.  If they would've chose either of those two then they would've been ridiculous.  They didn't switch up the team to much for chemistry purposes.  Something that teams desperately need in the Olympics

   Plus, Bynum still isn't fully healed from his knee surgery and might not even make opening tip-off for the Lakers.  Another reason is that Chandler is more of a shut down player and D presence, but Carlos is a proven All-Star, both offensively and defensively.  

  

    Another player that should be tossed up in this discussion is Shane Battier.  He has been on the team for a long time and could play SG, SF, and PF.  Shane played under Coach K so it would have been easy to coach him.  From a chemistry standpoint, he is very nice supposedly and gets along with many people.

    Oh well, whatever the reason is, only God knows.  Hopefully USA can get gold even if they had a few roster spots messed up.  Have fun watching the games because it only comes every 4 years.

I am a Rockets Fan, And don't like the Utah Jazz and especially Boozer. But the truth is, he is a good Foward. Boozer and Williams beat us Two years in a row in the first round playoffs. He averages 16 points per game, 12 rebounds per game, and he is a tough player. Colangalo wanted a Stockten and Malone type of duo, so he placed Deron William and Carlos Boozer to the lineup. And anyways, Amare Stoudamire couldn't play these olympics. And Garnett was not selected to the squad. So he was the "right" choice.
