Why in the world did the lions keep Tatum Bell? ?

He showed last year that he wasn't as good as we thought then this pre-season he was terrible. Why wouldnt we keep a person like Artose Pinner who can bang away at the opponents defensive line and wear them out to open up room for Kevin Smith?

Pinner has the same running style as Kevin Smith and Tatum Bell could change things up after Smith repeadtly pounds the defenders. I wasn't really impressed with Bell's peaseason either.

Well both Aveion Cason and Brian Calhoun were placed on IR. Also looking at Bell's stats show his yard per carry average is much higher than Pinner. Bell had a 1000 yard season and one that came very close. Overall, I think the Lions made the right move of not cutting Bell.
