  1. because of religious reasons i do not know


  2. I think that india is having a volleyball team with that team they are playing in asian games

  3. no body watches and plays it so u cant have a team

  4. they have a team but arent very good they are ranked 26th or something like that.

  5. The question is why the Indian national team is not  very good? I checked and you do have a team Men are ranked #25 and the women #85 in the world. Asian Games in Doha the Men finished only #9.

          Same reason why hockey is in decline and the football team doesn't qualify for the World Cup or Olympics. BBC reported cricket is where all interest is going not much interest in other sports. Hard to justify spending resources on a minor sport ,especially when Football is only popular in Goa and Bengal [ BBC SPORTS WORLD FOOTBALL]
