Why india is still under developing country?

india having 110crores of population and why is it not able to rule the world . and why is'nt india not able to secure more gold medals in olympics.what is the reason?

The root and primary cause has always been poverty and India has always been struggling to come with terms with this issue. There are other issues which are population, corruption, poor literacy rate, poor goverment support resources, poor infrastructure and last but not the least the mind set of the people.

For the same reason the USA still has millions of people collecting welfare checks in the land of opportunity.
