I can understand 12-15, but i think 13-16 14-17 should be reasonable. I mean if they like each other thats what matters right. Its like 2 16 year olds dating, i mean they just want to be with each other. Everyone is saying "oh the guy just wants to bang her" why the **** is it different. Im tired of this bloody ****, i want a bloody good answer for once.

  1. if you ahve s*x with someone that much older he/she could get in trouble! however i understand were your coming from my bf is 2 years older than me so.....

  2. Well, if the girl is the 13 year old it's sorta kinda wrong. that's a big three year gap, at a very difficult part in a girl's life. I know a boy who was 15, and he popped a 12 year old girl's cherry, That's wrong on so many levels. It was consensual, but at 12 some girls don't even know the whole basics of s*x. I think that, it's best to wait until they are older to date with gaps a big as that one.

  3. well 13 year old person is in middle school and 16 year old is in high school so big different

  4. Because alot of the time the guy does just want to get laid and it is easier to take advantage of a younger girl..  but thats not true in all cases, realistically the mind of a 13 year old is right about that of a 16 year old males mind.  I do not see any wrong in a 13/16 relationship in most cases..   most guys wants to get laid at any age so i dont think that is the only reason a 16 year old would get with a 13 year old.. what if she is nice and pretty and makes him laugh?

  5. well im 17 but still 13 is way too young just enjoy ur young life

  6. There is a rule. 1/2 + 7

    Sounds weird but it works.

Half your age and add 7, and that's the age of the youngest person you can date.

For example 1/2 of 16 is 8, 8+7 is 15, so if a 16 year old dates anyone younger than 15, it's perverted.

  7. Well, I think that a one year difference in the age 12-18ish range is kind of acceptable, two year difference and up is a bit different.

I mean, look at it like this. If a 16 year old male is dating a 13 year old. That's a Junior or Sophomore in high school, dating a 7th or 8th grader in middle school.

Then again, thats my opinion, But just ask yourself what is going on in the 16 year old's head toward the 13 year old. s*x?, a Long term relationship?, Someone to get to know? i think you know.

  8. bcoz, kids this age should really concentrate on their education. having a relationship causes so much more distractions that it is something that should be kept to a minimum, that is, if the parents care enuf. plus, they will have their college years and the rest of their life to date, so what's the rush?!

  9. A 13 year old may have the body of an adult but is not capable of making adult decisions.  13 year olds are too naive to be put in the position of making decisions that could affect the rest of their life.

  10. ITS NOT. Usually girls are more mature than guys any way which is why more tend to have boyfriends older than them

  11. it is not a big deal the media tell us to expect the worse in people.

  12. When the older individual turns 18, the younger will still be 15, statutory rape in the U.S.A.

edit: Also, I am guessing you are under 15 yourself? In that age range it does make a difference.  But once puberty ends, it really doesn't.  It is o.k. for a 23 year old to date a 26 year old.  But so much goes on in the teenage years.  Women do mature quicker emotionaly than men (on average), but men get into their sexual prime before women, but so much happens in those years that is important.  When you get in your 20's, you will look back on this question and know the answer yourself.

  13. I, personally, don't see it as a big deal. I have a cousin who is now 14, and her boyfriend is 17. They've been friends since she was about 3. There parents a really close and they have trust in them. I mean, if there still together in 10 years time, she'll be 24 and he'll be 27, but nobody will see that as a big deal? I started dating my husband when I was 17 and he was 22. It doesn't bother me and I feel it's completely upto them.

  14. ITS NOT. Usually girls are more mature than guys any way which is why more tend to have boyfriends older than them.

    AND ANOTHER THINGS..

A relationship should not go automatically with s*x. Real relationships are not based on  s*x!! mmk!?

  15. Because, in general, there is a pretty huge difference between the mentality and maturity of a 13 and 16 year old. To me, a 16 year old is pretty much an adult, whereas a 13 year old is a child. I know this is not true in every case and that often a 13 year old girl is actually more mature than a 16 year old boy, but that is how I see it and most other people, too.

  16. 12-15 is even creepier.

I, as well as most of society, go by the 20% rule. If there's more than a 20% age gap, it's creepy.

To be fair, at that age everyone wants to bang everyone else.

  17. It isn't reasonable at all, you shouldn't be having relationships at that age because you dumb teens end up having s*x because you are too stupid to understand the full concept of sexual intercourse. Then you'll end up having kids because you are too ignorant to understand the risks of s*x.

  18. the maturity level between the two are completely different, hormones and brain development.

  19. bloody christ your brits are annoying not really though you guys are cool and i find it funny when you guys say bloody.

  20. Think about it... a 13 year old is either still in middle school or just starting high school - both are times where they're going through a lot of changes regarding friends and maturity. A 16 year old by NO means has the whole "maturity" thing figured out - but they're in high school and have been for a few years, so they're at a different point in their life. Also, think about it - 13 and 16 yr olds have very little in common. A 13 year old will have an earlier curfew, won't be allowed out as much, and probably has different interests then a 16 year old.

Dating gets much easier once you're out of high school, but the age thing sticks til you're in your mid-twenties.

  21. because every part is crisp, and crunchy
