Why is 'jpeg decoding error ' showing for some of my photos when playing cd on my dvd?

All photos are jpeg format same size and resolution dpi230.

jpeg decoding error message shows for about 15 of 65 photos

ad hoc positions. I tried playing cd in another dvd player and the same happened - has anyone else had this problem?

Most likely cause is dirt or scratching on the CD. Try cleaning the CD.
