Question:

Why is AFL regarded as a "fairies" game, which mums want their kids to play, just like soccer ?

So they don't get hurt playing Rugby or especially Rugby League ! They have feminised AFL far to much, unlike to "up there gazally" days, even I can admit the high marks were pretty spectacular, but these days it's a joke, never as tough as League and whats with this hands in the back c**p, please it's all o feminine for me !

  2. It would be interesting to get a comparison of season ending injuries and time spent out from other injuries just to compare the different codes.

My opinion is ....... AFL isn't soft, the perception has come from the cease of all in brawls that used to take place in the 80's

It's still a tough game. If you want to bag the AFL against NRL and Union, maybe you should be posting at a NRL or Union forum.

  3. I answered a question in here recently & compared AFL with women's netball. I received eight thumbs down.

I follow the Brisbane Bears & the only player in that team with a bit of gumption is being umpired out of the game. Ok Brownie thumped a couple of players - & no-one can say Josh Carr didn't deserve a whack - but to get up to six weeks for a bit of a biff that wouldn't have even received a 10min sin bin send off in ARL.

Yes, the mummies are pulling the strings at the AFL & they are falling over backwards to pander to them.

What happened to that ad jingle of yesteryear?.....

    "FEED THE MAN MEAT"!!!

  4. wayne & gutsache - grow up you sexist twits.

Honestly, the constant reference to us females and fairies is just verbal vomit coz you dont anything else to do.

Hands in the back c**p??  Whats with the finger in the @rse c**p in league, HUH??

  5. No, you are WRONG!

I umpire junior games and I can tell you that I have been umpiring for 3 and a half years, I have seen some of the most phisical games at an under 12 level! They are not allowed to to tacckle to the ground!

The under 14's are only just better and I have only seen one under 16 game of a very high quality.

The under 12's get in there and go at the ball. They dont worry about fighting another player because they fight for the ball! Im sorry but I totaly dis agree with you and this is from the umpires prospective.

I am not saying that the under 12's could beat the under 16's, the under 16's play a better game because they have cleaner ball skills.

I disagree with the hands in the back, 95% of umpires do,

    It is 'Up there Cazaly'

  6. I'm with Rogue on this one LOL!!!!!!

  7. Question? Have you ever played the game that you are trying to mock, I've played both AFL and Rugby and the hardest hit I had was from AFL.

  8. I have two friends who have ended up in wheel chairs due to neck injuries playing rugby league or union.

They were playing in competitions of a fairly  low grade & were not really as fit as professional players,  so I suppose that contributed towards their injuries..Those type of injuries are what detracts me from the two rugby codes.

AFL is striving to alleviate such similar injuries & are clamping down on 'head hits'. They should be applauded for that fact alone..

  9. Bahahahahahahaha....

    You have no life!!!

Gawd, you are soo g*y. You better go your Boyfriend must be waiting for you, you better make th most of him, dont wanna waste your money

Anyway, why are u dissing faeries they could kick your g*y **** any day with their faerie powers!!! Never underestimate the power of the faerie!!!

  10. You're on the wrong forum mate.  Try telling this c**p to Fraser Gehrig or Barry Hall.  In the meantime, there's always g*y, L*****n and Trans-gendered section where you should find some people who like League.

  11. probably because mums don't want to see their sons end up with sore bum h@les because some blokes got an itchy trigger finger-WHO'S THE REAL FAIRIES WAYNE? time to be a real Aussie Wayne and support the true AUSTRALIAN CODE and not that pommy sport you play up north :)

  12. Well my daughter is an avid AFL supporter and that is the sport she wanted to play.

I did not allow it for the fact it is too much a contact sport.

So now she plays soccer and thank god she is enjoying it.

AFL ,a fairies game????  DON'T THINK SO!!!!!

  13. Wow thats deep

    I'm guessing you don't have a Girlfriend...
