They are both good games, but i truly believe Aussie rules, (not afl) is the best out of the two because of the skill involved, if you can catch a ball thrown from 2 feet away and run fast, you can play league, kick it in the air and watch the players try to mark or catch it. 7/10 times they drop it, hate to see them bounce the ball.

Aussie rules is faster, free flowing and skill full, bounce the footy on the run, kick running at top speed, take a mark after a ball has been kicked on ave 50mts, tackle(admittedly not as well as the league blokes), it is just a more enjoyable game.

AFL is a cowards game for cowards incapable of absorbing the impact RL Players do!

Also doesn't it make you lot "feel good" knowing you can NEVER Represent your Country, unless you play a hybrid Aussie Rules-Gaellic Football match against "little Ireland". Forget defeating, England, New Zealand, Wales, Scotland, Italy, Fiji, Tonga, Samoa, Papua New Gunea.....etc.....

AFL is rubbish, come watch a World Game!

I disagree with you actually - I think cricket is the best sport l then followed by Aussie Rules.

I've seen some very good Aussie Rules matches - they have not been AFL games!

AFL is more fast paced and on the edge of ya seat type of game while NRL is just a lousy slow paced snail game ( insult to snail though). And u can never get bored of AFL!!! Go the Dockers!!! :)
