Why is AmazingAtheist on YouTube so popular?

Pretty straight-forward question. He is just a vile, evil piece of excrement that seems to cuss after every other word. Why do so many people subscribe to his videos? I can't even sit through one of his videos. If thats what it takes to be popular on YT, I'm so thankful that I'll never be popular! Any input would be greatly appreciated.

don't call him that doesn't it say something about not judging or name calling in the bible- not judging you but you might give people the wrong idea about christianity

and they might not be saved...
