  1. The polar ice-caps are being threatened due to global warning.

As the Earth heats up the ice is melting, this in turn has a knock on effect... the sea level is rising, and land is being swallowed up ie parts of the East Coast of England is being eroded back into the sea,Venice is sinking, Tsunamis are more likely to happen, and the major Ice Berg continent shelves are melting so the natural animal life, Polar Bears, Seals, Bird Life, cannot sustain their habitats, and therefore diminish in their reproduction numbers, and the whole population of the world is having to move inland, in order to build and taking over green-belt land, and we are losing our natural resources ie oil, minerals etc.

    Da Daaaaaaa !!! in a nutshell......how's  dat ????

  2. Global Warming and Ozone layer depletion are the main threats to Antarctica. Due to Global Warming ,temperature of earth rises and causes melting of ice sheets. The CFCs released by our ACs cause ozone layer depletion which causes cancers and mutation as UV rays can reach the surface.

  3. Global warming. Scientists working in Antarctica have discovered an alarming rise in sea temperature that threatens to disrupt populations of penguins, whales, seals and a host of smaller creatures within a few decades.
