Why is Antarctica under threat?

can you name some reasons why Antarctica is under threat please.. really need some help with this!!

  1. beacuse CO2 gas is trapping heam beams from the sun in the ozone, melting the ice.  GLOBAL WARMING


  2. Are you sure it is under threat? I've heard reports that things are not what some media reports.

  6. Two reasons I could think of are 1) global warming, which melts more and more ice much faster than ever (?) before, and 2) the whole in the ozone layer; both endanger antarctic life.
