Why is Antarctica under threat?

can you name some reasons why Antarctica is under threat please.. really need some help with this!!

Two reasons I could think of are 1) global warming, which melts more and more ice much faster than ever (?) before, and 2) the whole in the ozone layer; both endanger antarctic life.
