Why is Arizona Iced Tea more expensive in Arizona?

In California, the cans of Arizona Iced tea are 99 cents. In Arizona, they are about 1.69, despite still saying "Only 99 cents!" on the can. What's the deal?

LOL! That's funny! Maybe they think they can get away With it just cuz the brand has Arizona in it. Or maybe it way just the store they were selling it in?

in small shops you can get it for 99cents but rarely there

It has to do with shipping and distributors.

Lack of distributors makes for a higher price.

But you do know the law?

If it's marked 99 cents, it's illegal for them to sell it for more.

I'd question that.
