  1. Oh... when we go to war; the flag is worn that way.  

    You just pointed out a very important thing that he has lied to the entire nation and world.  He claims to not be for war; yet he displays it on his jet.

  3. The flag always flies back from the end with the stars, as it would if attached to a flagpole. If the plane flew backward, they'd be going the other way.

  4. It's not,   that is how it would look if it was a real flag blowing in the wind of a moving vehicle, plane, etc,.

  8. You never pay attention to anything. The Flag is flown backward on ALL Planes! Next time you see AF1, look at the Flag, On one side the Flag is Backward.

  15. That is the way it is supposed to be when put on a moving vehicle, the stripes go back as if it is waving.

  22. thats the way it would look if it was actaully there, its attached to the pole on the star side and while the plane is moving it would blow that way, on the other side of the plane it looks the right way, its not just him its on ALL planes

    Why do used car lots fly American flags from aerials of foreign cars?

  29. Same reason why it's backward on the sleeves of servicemen, the flag is supposed to lead with the star field and trail with the stripes, as if it were being carried as a standard in the wind.

  30. It's not backwards.  All planes are supposed to have the canton (i.e., the blue rectangle with the stars) facing toward the front of the plane, which means that when you look at the starboard side of the plane, the flag will have the canton at the right.

    Don't believe me?  Just check out these pictures of Air Force One, Marine One, and Air Force Two.  If Obama's flag faces backwards, so do Bush's and Cheney's.
