  1. In blood it's important because if its too high or too low, it can affect your bones, and other vital organs, I'm not sure but the normal PH in a human body should be between 7.3 and 7.4.


  2. u can take it this way dat in case blood pH rises i.e becomes alkaline , cells will lose the water due to hypertonic external environment( i.e plasma or blood) n hence shrink, ultimately die!

    same way, if pH reduces acidic environment causes degeneration of the cells coz they break tough cellular n molecular bonds. hence cells die in this case too!

    therefore, an optimum pH has to b maintained fr normal functioning of body cells n only very minute changes can be ok wid this pH system.

  3. bcs any small change in the blood PH will affect the vital reactions in your body that control metabolism and maintain normal situation of the body(homeostasis),
