  1. Um... hes not Brett was pressure to make a choice quick to play or not he wanted to play but he choice not to.  So his last year was a great year.  He wants to go to the super bowl this year so thats why he doesn't want to play for Packers especially with Ted Thompson who he doesn't like.

  2. Let me see........joe montana retired, he stayed retired; Steve Young...samething.  Same with marino, elway. aikman.   Favre just thinks he is better than any of them i guess.

  3. The unconditional love of the Packers fans and ESPN has made him truly believe that the world revolves around him. I mean, what other QB gets nothing but praise after throwing away ANOTHER playoff game? He thinks he's above the Packers organization when the truth is that they are his "employer" and no longer want his service.

  4. I don't know why he acts like one but I agree this whole thing is stupid. If they don't want to let him play anymore and his contract says he can't then he shouldn't!!

  5. This sounds like a question a four year old would ask.

  6. Maybe you should ask a 4 year old.

  7. LOL , hes 40 but acting like hes 4. Hes just really really greedy!

  8. i know, it is like he can't make up his mind after given all of the opportunity to come back and then he pulls this!? whats up with him can't he see that he is done it would have been best if he would have just sat in retirement and taken his yearnings to play in some positive manner instead though, he is acting like a drama queen four year old.

"oh wahhh! i want to play again, even though i am old and suck.  also even though i gave my word by signing the retirement stuff that i was done."

He is really just cheating all those young guys... they could be good but we'll never know cause Favre is hogging the spotlight.  Its like he is playing with them dangleing this awesome opportunity in front of them then snatching it back cause he is selfish and misses playing.

why doesn't he just use his talent to teach the next generation? he'd make a great mentor! or at least i thought he did before he pulled all of this c**p!

  9. cuz he deserves to be in GB and starting, that hippie rogers should get da heck out!

  10. I'm a huge Green Bay fan yet I can see where Bret Favre is coming from. He played every single game for us and we ditched him when he wanted to play again. When you're an organization you need to stick with your players and show them the same devotion they show you.

  11. Is it okay for someone to change their mind...yes...but actually Bret sounds a lot like my 2 year old...

    I wanna pway...

    I don't wanna pway...

    I wanna pway...

    I don't wanna pway...

    Wahhhh....why don't they like me???

Just coz I hold them hostage every year doesn't mean they shouldn't bow to my feet...

(okay I admit my 2 year old doesn't hold anyone hostage...)

  12. Perhaps you aren't aware that it's perfectly acceptable for people to change their minds.

We all make mistakes, and when there's a way for a person to rectify a mistake, they should use it.  It takes a strong man to admit that he made a mistake in the first place, and to accept the criticism that unfeeling people like you throw at him.

What would you do, have him sit in the corner and be depressed for the rest of his life?

  13. what a wierd question you are asking

  14. Funny, Im not even a Packer fan and I think Favre deserves more respect than hes getting.

Everyone acts like Brett Favre doesnt have the right to lead his life the way he wants to.  If I retire from my job and then decide I dont like sitting on my can all day do I not have the right to go back to work?  h**l yes I do and so does he.

McCarthy states Favre isnt committed to the Packers.  Sounds to me like The Packers werent committed to him and they will surely pay the price.

FYI - Brett Favre isnt the only player to ever come out of retirement but hes probably one of the best to do so in this sport or any other sport.

Just talking football, I dont remember people whining and complaining when Deion Sanders came out of retirement.  I dont remember them whining and crying when a coach decided to unretire and take over the team he coached a decade earlier (Joe Gibbs).

Other sports - Roger Clemens, Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson....uhhh George Foreman.

How many people would cry if Barry Sanders wouldve come out of retirement a year or 2 after he retired?  How 'bout Troy Aikman, John Elway, Joe Montana, just about any player thats retired.  Those players wouldnt have been so disrespected as Favre so why is Favre being treated like c**p especially by his own people??

  15. y do u like the c**k?
