Why is Brett Myers back up?

Brett Myers is the biggest piece of c**p, on and off the field... why did they bring him back up? Four walks in the first, resulting in a run and another run scored before the inning was over. He isn't going to change his ways!!! What do you think the Phillies should do with him? What do you think should happen? I am so frustrated!

  1. He has been garbage, but he need to work on his control problems because he walk four straight batters in the first inning and gave up five walks overall in 6 IP... He can get better he just needs the confidence..But if he can't get better soon or later,he should be trade bate because he's stated numerous times he wants to be a closer.

  2. He's not that bad, you know.

Phillies fans really need to give him another chance.  He's got plenty of potential, and he'll give you an at least decent start most times out.

Who do you suggest they have pitching?  He's a much better choice than most other pitchers.

  3. He only gave up 3 runs. 2  were from the walks, minus that, he did okay

  4. Because they dont want to tire out their bullpen  so they are gonna try to get as many innings out of Myers before they take him out...I think they are gonna keep him (unfortunately) because they need pitching and they think that he might do well

So I think it was good for them to keep him in because there bullpen would be REALLY tired if they had to pitch 8 innings

Just wait and see how many innings they can get out of him today
