Why is Brighthouse Networks so outrageously expensive?

Currently I live in GA and pay $69/month for expanded cable and high speed cable internet.

I am getting an apartment in Daytona and for the same service it is $93/month. Is there a monopoly or what is the deal? This is cr*p.

They know that you have to use them or get a satellite. In Florida, everything is more expensive than almost anywhere else.

Yup, it's a monopoly...no competition! PLUS they do a bunch of advertising which i hate because they promote all their services and I don't use any of them, but have to pay for them cause they are "bundled" in with my basic service.
