Personally, I think it's a "favor" to someone in the "higher up" in Yahoo.  It seems there's some sort of LOCK on the category, too, because every time I want to go "into" it, or try to answer a question listed there, the Yahoo system never allows me to "do" that "action."

There have been many people who are unhappy about it's existence, but it remains.  That is why I think it has something to do with some "favor" to an executive or something like that.
