Why is Cal so great year after year?

Something like 22 national championships. How did they get so good?

Are you talking about the University of California Rugby Team? Well if you are, it's 23 national championships to be exact - 1980, 1981, 1982, 1983, 1985, 1986, 1988, 1991, 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007.

Maybe it's because all the immigrants and the foreign students. Americans are not too crazy about Rugby as far as I know - other than for some exceptions of course.

if it is uni cal it might have somthing to do with them not playing in the senior competion. I played for san jose in northern cal in 1986-7, no uni teams in it. sothern cal ditto!

I heard the players in the U.S.A team at the R.W.C are Uni players.

What went wrong with their game play if they won 22 national championships??.
