Why is Channel 7 showing so many repeats for the olympics?

Have been watching C7 and have seen the Phelps swim at least 5 times today very annoying. When are they going to start showing more live sports.

Good question!  I actually filled in a feedback form on the Yahoo 7 website complaining about this very thing, however, I received a reply from Yahoo explaining that Channel 7 don't accept email feedback.....  Bizarre, eh?

They did supply me with phone numbers however, but I haven't yet tried using them.

I was just commenting that the replays are driving me mad. Yes he's a good swimmer, we get that, but there are heaps of other sports that I'm sure people would like to watch (live) instead of endlessly reliving one bloke's races and very irritating interviews.  

I might add that the most annoying bit is that Italian fencing thing.  It goes on forever, and occurs with monotonous regularity.

They are brainless and arrogant if that is possible.  We criticise the Chinese for media censorship 7, in conjunction with the AFL,  do likewise.  We need to pressure the government to buy the rights for 2010 and get the ABC to show us real coverage.  However, now that ABC also broadcast AFL when we could be hearing the Olympic events, they have been nobbled as well.

Almost nothing they are showing is live, even though they try to get us to believe that it is. I timed some of Saturday's coverage and in one hour there was only 15 minutes of 'current' news all the rest was replays, adds, self promos and their long slo-mo promo.

As far as compaining/commenting, don't even try. I tried on a number of occassions during their 2000 coverage, even to their webmaster and not a single response from them. It appears that they don not want to know what the average person thinks. THEY KNOW BETTER

well it could be because 7 has nothing worthwhile to watch these days and they know it so they have just spammed the Olympics in the hope that enough sports crazed people will watch there dying channel
