Why is China being accused of cheating in the Olympics?

Because they've been taking pages from the old Eastern Bloc book on how to win Olympic medals.  That includes forging paperwork like they seem to have done for their little girls...I mean WOMEN's gymnastics team.

The next thing I expect to see is a female shot putter pee standing up.

We all know couple of Americans who used steroids in the past to cheat and we don't deny it. We know they were wrong. But when someone publish a story about China using underage girls to win gold medal, you call us sore?

I watched a show today that showed kids even 3 years old being trained to swim, do gymnastics, archery, ect.... you name it it all happens at about 3 years old which may be good for kids but not the way they are trained in China.  Plus I work from home and have  watched almost everything I can and every other country has been ripped off not just the US. I am a pretty big political person and the way the children are forced to be involved in China way they are is not what I would do to my children.  I love kids including my own and the show I saw today on the way the kids are trained for competition in China is not anything I would do to my kids.  I love all nations but children come first.

Gymnastics..

Several of the news media.....such as the Associated Press went back and looked for news stories written on the current gymnasts.  They found two stories that were written 1-2 years ago that gave an age that shows two of the athletes are too young to compete in this Olympics.  

This is not a case of a single person cheating...or one athlete or coach but athletes, coaches,  trainers,  the Chinese Olympic Committee and even the Chinese Government which issued the passports were all involved in cheating..

As you know,  many times people such as kids have claimed to be a false age in order to qualify for something,  such as kids tickets at the zoo or movie....  But this never had a name.  Now we have a name for this behavior......Already spreading into American slag is..."China Cheat"  which is a person who presents a false age in order to qualify for something...

China should be proud of itself and its contribution to American slag....

I think I will China Cheat and get into the AARP a few years early.

The claim is that the Chinese gymnasts are not 16 yrs of age (which is the age a gymnast must be to compete in the olympics). However, I think its sad if Americans are using the fact that they are getting beat by little girls as an excuse. I also think that Americans forget that the Chinese people are generally much smaller in stature than other races AND gymnasts tend to look young anyways--from so much working out their bodies tend to look like boys bodies. Although some sources say they have found paperwork that ages the gymnasts as fourteen yr olds, I think this rumor is best to be dropped--they won the gold so they are obviously worthy of being in the competition.

You can claim anything you want.  Don't we follow the rule that "innocent" until proven guilty?  If you don't trust anything that Chinese government says, then why should you trust their news media sources?  Or are you just using their "information" when it suits your arguement?

what ever country the olympics is being held in, that country is usually accused of cheating. so who knows?
