Babi Pangang, Fou Young Hi and Saté with saté-sause are the best known Chinese courses here in the Netherlands. In the USA I never saw anything like that, in the Chinese restaurants.

  1. Because the 'Chinese' food in America and Europe are not real Chinese dishes. In different parts of the world, Chinese cuisine is blended with local cuisine to appeal more to the population. In China, nobody eats 'General T'so Chicken', 'Beef with Broccolii', 'Sweet and Sour Pork' because it's not real. All the Americans that I know that have had real Chinese food think it is 'gross' and 'disgusting', but actually, may best friend and her family are Chinese and their food is really delicious- it's like 100 times better than Chinese-American food! I don't like people who 'dis' my favorite food-- it makes me sad.

  2. Chinese food is different in most countries outside of China, even within China its different.  Just like if you get a Pizza in northern Italy it'll be different than in the south, or in the US, or Sweden, or .... wherever

  3. Babi Pangang and Sate are Chinese-Indonesian food. You need to go to Indonesian Restaurant. to order those.

  4. Yeah, I'm going to agree with viking.  It is different everywhere. For instance, when I was in New York, the fried rice had no egg.  When I moved to Florida, the fried rice had egg.  I guess the important thing is finding one that's great.

  5. we dont have the same agricultral envoirment to grow the same food, so we use what we got
