  1. Our offense is top notch. Texas isn't going to break up the top 4 [Kinsler, Laird, Young, Hamilton] until Bradley gets back. Vazquez is the ninth hitter and hitting over 300. I wish they'd bump him up too but there is no reason for Murphy to hit any lower than he does now.


  2. Where should he bat? He's doing just fine where he is ...Texas is actually playing it pretty smart with him ... he's getting ABs without a lot of pressure on him and he's been producing. I think it's a great move to precede a change in his batting order in 2009 ... this may equip him better to handle more pressure next year. Think of him in Byrd's spot next year.

  4. Mainly becuz the Rangers' offense is pretty stacked tight.  They have a guy who owns a .322 avg. batting ninth.
