Politicians are hands off on illegals because they want to get the votes of their relatives and friends.

Its a great problem to ensure government expansion. The longer they can drag it out, the more anger, the more likely people will allow higher taxes, and larger government, to solve the larger problem.

Getting the job done fast, means less chance for more earning.

And other than that, the economy is in a position where we need illegal immigrants - due to the value of the dollar. If the economy was better, the immigrants would not be here, and americans would have those jobs.

Blame the govt enforced minimum wage (not market value wage), the value of the dollar, and overall economy.
