Rocca was Italy's foremost golfer in the 1980s and 1990s, winning five times on The European Tour, competing in three Ryder Cups and even almost winning The Open Championship, in 1995, when he came second. Rocca also tied for fifth place in the Masters in 1997, and currently plies his trade on the European Senior tour.
