  1. Cuba is poor because it is governed by a communist dictator who has imposed socialism on the population and then stolen as much of the public wealth as possible.  Cuba is a good example of the failure of socialism.

  2. Cuba is poor due to a relative lack of natural resources, except natural beauty, which is a very difficult commodity to sell in a socialist economy.

The travel industry was hopping when it was run by the Mafia.

  3. I don't know either. After that movie with Tom Cruise,( the " Show me the Money one" I thought he was gonna be huge. He's really made some questionable choices in roles since then I tell you. I mean " Snow Dogs", c'mon.

  4. having trade relations doesnt mean anything unless your trading something.... they recently started to allow computers, internet,  and microwaves think about the time and money we save and the economic benefit we have from using these devices alone (not to mention most of there cars are older than barrack obama) most of the carribean is very poor and cuba is even worse off because of its political and economic situation and bad relations with the massive consumer 90 miles to the north.  they would likely be well off if they got their junk together and worked with america....cigars beaches cruises rum
