Why is Dark Armed Dragon so hyped and expensive?

I mean, its not like its the best card or anything. Sure it needs no tributes and it has 2800 atk, but why is it $200??

You have to have exactly 3 darks in Grave to bring it out. You can destroy a card by removing a dark. Unless they solemn it by paying a ton of Lp, your opponent is going to usually lose 3 cards and then another card to stop Dark Armed Dragon and if Dark armed attacked and destroyed a monster,then your opponent lost 5 cards to one Dark Armed Dragon. If they solemn it, then they lose a ton of Lp and then they can still normal summon a monster and attack for more damage. The card is Awesome.

The price is high because it's rare and the demand is high.

dark is really powerful but it could be stopped it is expensiv because og its effect and the combos with it and not to mention it is a secrert rare i have 3 dark armed dragon. i pulled all 3 in packs. I run a dark armed deck but any of those decks could be stopped

because its one of the greatest card ever combo with a dark armed deck. all the cards are to get it out, and give it enough power to destroy at least 3 cards when come to the field. Also, if you have 2 or more in your hand you can summon them all in a turn.  It's also rare and demanding.

I once  draw 3 and summon them all in one turn and otk'd the other guy.
