  1. It was an accident when he was a baby.  An AP article reported: "A corneal ulcer in his right eye required an operation almost immediately after birth.  That surgery went well enough, but several days later, a veterinarian trying to clear up a complication inadvertently punctured the eye."

    poor guy.  he can see fine in the left eye.  and the right really doesn't seem to bother him much.  If my horse couldn't see one way, she'd be spooking constantly
