Question:

Why is Derian Hatcher such a coward?

Laraque challenged him and he backed down. He seemed like he had nothing left today. I guess when Laraque called him out the other day in the media he was right. What a loser.

  1. i know. seriously. i can't believe you're actually asking this question.

hatcher, if the case wasn't so for his team would love any oppertunity he got, especially if georges is the one starting it, to finish it off and get in a scrum.

and yeah ruutu, and laroque were trying to get some things started, but the flyers didn't bite. good for them.

me personally i would have liked to see another sidney and richards faceoff, but the pens did a good job of owning the game to shutup all the flyers.

change what mindset. go down fighting...like this whole series, and even them getting this far wasn't one huge fight and facing adversity. i'm sure that from the start of the game ruutu and laroque were trying to get **** flying all game, but when i saw georges running his mouth there was about 5 minutes left in the third. yeah, hockey is so much like basketball that they could have come back from a 6-0 deficit to a team that was out for the kill. sure.

  2. he didnt wana give his team a penalty(which was a smart play) im positive you would have cowerded down too

ps... if laraque went up against Darik BOOGAARD HE WOULD GET HIS *** KICKED

  3. Who cares? The pens move on and they dont. On to the CUP FINALS!!

  4. He didn't want to cost his team a penalty, it was smart of him.

  5. he know he will get his *** kicked and lose momentem for his team.i would of done the same thing as him to.

  6. Laraque would have killed him

  7. Derian Hatcher, a loser? He's playing in the NHL with one Stanley Cup win already and you're sitting at home trying to make fun of him on Yahoo Answers. Yeah, he's the loser.

  8. I bet you would back down from Laraque too, so are you a coward?

  9. Coward?Stay on the ice because of best dman is just coming off a bad injury and our second best wasn't even playing.I'm sure Gonchar would have dropped the gloves if our goon challenged him.I guess Georges was sticking up for his teammate who got his *** whupped in Game 4 by Hatcher.

    This question can't be serious?

  10. I understand not wanting to take the penalty, but the Flyers needed something to change momentum. Hatcher wasn't going to help his team score, but he could of helped them change their mindset with a fight.

  11. He just wanted to keep what teeth he has left.

  12. Where had fighting gotten Hatcher and the Flyers previously in the series?  Down 3-0.  You've gotta pick your spots, even in the most emotional of situations.

  13. What's with this "he didn't want to cost his team a penalty," both him and Laraque would sit for it so their wouldn't really be any loss or gain on either bench.

  14. he just wants retire with out getting hurt.

  15. Have you ever thought that maybe he didnt want to take the penalty and might want to actually help his team win the game to finish off the series and advance them to the finals?

  16. i think he was actually being smart for once. we were down and if he would have taken that penalty i think it would have gotten worse.
