You say indias fast bowling lineup isnt world class, are you stupid. why do you think india has been winning so many games away. and hwo is indias spin attack weak, its the best in the world.

You also say sachin isnt that good anymore, well he was the highest run getter in the australia test series in 2008, and scored 2 centuries, and also single handely won india the cb series final, with scores of 117* and 91.

dhoni on the other hand is also a good player..but he needs to go to long way to reach the level as that of sachin.

most of the indians stop watching cricket if sachin do not play...we just dont like watching cricket without him..he resides in the hearts of one billion people

In India people need just 1 series and sometimes just one match to decide who is the best, That's how some Indians think - The team did a great job but the biggest change was captain So he didn't perform with the bat then it must be his captaincy. the Seniors have done a lot for the country really but that was long ago, Dhoni just helped the team win the series.Dhoni is the best blah blah blah

If Sehwag and Gambhir are doing good and have helped the team win the match, people will call it Mahi's magic

At the start of his carreer, Dhoni was a hard hitting batsman.  Normally people in India likes the hard hitting batsman.  Then Dhoni took over captaincy of Indian Team for Twenty/20 Cricket World Cup and India won the World Cup.  He was also a successful captain in ODI version of the game.  All these made him most popular.  According to Indian tendency, if he fails continuously in couple of games, the same people will ask for his head.

Primarily because he looks cool and then he is a batsman. Other than that he has cut down in his milk consummation  from 6 gallons a day to only one gallon! reportedly to guard against the rising prices. He seems a cool and calculative guy on the field who doesn't show much emotions or micro manages his team players. And last but not the least, he is one of the lucky captains whose even bad decisions turns out to be in his favor. He is good as long as his luck is with him but from the batting skills he is just about an average batsman.
