Why is Drew Peterson still free and threatening his neighbors?

Why does he have a weapon that he has refused to turn over to the police when he was ordered to relinquish all his guns by court order? Why isn't he searching for his wife? Why haven't his children been removed from his custody? Why are the police supporting this piece of dirt? Why does his attorney say his previous wife died from an accident when it has been ruled a murder? He can't get a book or movie contract because by law he won't be permitted to benefit from any of it when he's convicted so no one will offer anything!

Hopefully Stacy's body will turn up and there will be some evidence on her, all pointing at him, right now there is no evidence pointing at the scum, we can dislike him all we want but until it can be prove, he is free.
