Why is East Timor's military chief involved in discussions about Reinado ?

The chief in question Taur Matan Ruak shouldn't be involved.

Taur Matan Ruak was recommended to be charged in 2006.

Reinado is purely a smokescreen to avoid having to try to arrest Taur Matan Ruak.

Dare I suggest that Rerden would be too cowardly to try to arrest Taur Matan Ruak.

The Military Chief wanted to be involved in the case of Reinado because they feel that he is a threat to the security and public order of Timor.
